Full-size competition courts or clubs – It is not a substitute for multi-pole floodlighting systems built for regulation match play.
Large areas requiring uniform lighting – The system prioritises the key playing zone around the hoop, not wide-area coverage.
Users expecting daylight-level brightness – Game Light® enhances playability after dark, but it does not replicate daytime conditions.

Compatibility & Integration
Game Light® is designed specifically for MegaSlam basketball systems, mounting securely to the hoop structure while keeping the playing area evenly lit.
Engineered to fit all MegaSlam hoop models without modification. The lighting system mounts independently of the height adjustment mechanism, providing consistent downward illumination without moving parts.
The Game Light® does not interfere with rebounds, shooting lines, or dunk action.

Installation Timing
Game Light® can be fitted to your MegaSlam hoop as soon as it arrives and does not require curing time or specialist equipment. If ordered alongside a hoop system, you must install the light after the hoop is fully assembled and secured.

What is Game Light® designed to do?
It is designed to illuminate the key playing area around the hoop for evening and low-light play. It improves visibility for shooting, rebounding, and casual games when full court lighting isn’t required.
Can it be added after the hoop is installed?
Yes. It must be installed to an existing MegaSlam system. Installation may be easier if planned during the original hoop installation.
Is it a DIY installation?
Yes. The system is fully DIY and is designed to be installed without professional assistance. Clear instructions are provided, and no specialist tools are required beyond standard hand tools.
Is it adjustable once installed?
No. Once installed, the assembly remains fixed in the perfect position above the hoop. It does not pivot, track the ball, or move dynamically during play.
Can it be used for full-court lighting?
No. It’s a localized lighting solution, not a replacement for floodlights or professional court lighting systems. It is intended to support casual play, training, and shooting sessions.
Can it be used indoors?
The system is designed primarily for outdoor use. It is not intended for indoor installations unless sufficient clearance, ventilation, and mounting conditions are confirmed.
Can it be used outdoors year-round?
Yes. It is built for outdoor use and suitable for typical weather conditions. As with any outdoor electrical accessory, basic installation and safety guidance should be followed.
Does it affect gameplay or ball rebound?
No. It does not interact with the backboard, rim, or net and has no impact on ball response or play.
Game Light – LED Court Lighting for MegaSlam Hoops
Game Light is an LED floodlight system purpose-built for MegaSlam hoops. It mounts directly to the hoop pole and illuminates the playing area below — no separate lighting pole, no cable running across the court, and no specialist contractor required beyond a standard electrician connection.
Why light your court?
An outdoor court is most useful when it works year-round. In the UK and across Northern Europe, that means evening use for much of the year. Game Light extends playable hours into autumn and winter evenings without the cost and complexity of a separate lighting installation.
Specification
High-output LED: Delivers strong, even illumination across the court surface. Neutral daylight colour: A daylight-balanced colour temperature provides clear, even light without the yellow cast associated with older floodlights. Outdoor-rated durability: IP65-rated for permanent outdoor installation, designed to handle rain, frost, and long-term UV exposure. Discreet power routing: Power connects via a standard outdoor socket or a hardwired weatherproof outlet. The cable runs down the MegaSlam pole to a junction box at base level — the only visible external cabling.
Installation
Game Light mounts to the MegaSlam 60 or MegaSlam 72 pole at the specified bracket point above the backboard. Mechanical fitting: Around 30 minutes for the bracket and light unit. Electrical connection: Must be completed by a qualified electrician. New court builds: If you are having groundwork done for a new court, running the cable at that stage is the most cost-effective option — the electrician can trench and connect in a single visit. Retrofit friendly: Adding Game Light to an existing MegaSlam installation is straightforward. The bracket and cable routing do not require any modification to the hoop itself.
