Graphite and Cherry Red: a Backyard Half-Court Built for Evening Sessions

A dark court that keeps a low profile against the fence line, with a red key and a floodlit hoop for playing long after the light goes.

Selle ehituse kohta

The pad is 8.5 × 9.8 m in Graphite Grey Super X tiles. Four full tiles sit beyond the FIBA three-point arc, which is what makes it a shooting court: you can step into a three instead of shooting with your heels on the edge. The Cherry Red key is swapped in tile by tile, so the colour boundary lands exactly on the tile grid and stays crisp for the life of the court.

The hoop is an in-ground MegaSlam with a light mounted above the backboard, which is what makes graphite the right call: the white lines carry all the contrast you need after dark, and the surface never glares.

A rebound fence behind the baseline keeps long misses out of the borders. If you play mostly after work, this is the spec to copy.
